Michael is passionate about working alongside patients and collaborating with them to reach their sporting or life goals.
After graduating from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Michael has since returned to Melbourne where he has gained further experience working in private practice. Michael enjoys applying his skills of injury assessment and rehabilitation with all ages across a variety of musculoskeletal conditions & rehabilitation needs. Michael also has a passion for working with NDIS participants.
Having grown up playing sports his whole life, Michael has a first hand experience participating in Aussie rules, basketball, volleyball and athletics. Michael has also followed his sporting passions into his work, with physiotherapy experience in local football (EFL) and soccer (NPL). Through this experience, Michael is able to understand the specific requirements of many sports allows him to help his clients to return to sports of all levels.
Michael has developed a hands on approach to treatment, which he utilises to reduce symptoms, allowing them to get moving again. With further training in Clinical Pilates, Michael enjoys incorporating exercise therapy into treatments, optimising rehab to get great outcomes.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys catching up with friends and trying out new restaurants to eat. He also likes to keep fit by hitting the gym or running, with the hope of one day completing his first marathon.
