    Upwell and KIC

    Keep it Cleaner and Upwell Health Collective’s relationship began in 2018 when they joined forces to host a charity event, raising money for The Butterfly Foundation. Since then KIC & Upwell have gone from strength to strength with Upwell supporting the development of Keep it Cleaner’s KICBUMP & KIC RUN programs, among others.

    Who is KIC?

    Keep it Cleaner (KIC) is a health and wellness app & community co-founded by Laura Henshaw and Steph Claire Smith. We’re here to make movement, mindfulness and meals feel good, for you. Every journey is different, so we’re here to help you find a wellness routine that fits with your lifestyle, not the other way around. 

    How is KIC different to other fitness / wellness apps?

    We are challenging the ‘all or nothing’ approach and want to help our community find a wellness routine that feels good for them and fits into their own lifestyle. 

    We say screw diet culture, the scales, and unrealistic expectations that completely consume our lives, and instead say ‘yes’ to feeling good, setting small goals like 5 to 10 minutes of daily movement and cooking delicious, nourishing meals that actually taste good, like creamy mac and cheese and one pot lasagne.

    At the minute, we’re loving…

    • Barre Pilates – 5-minute Beginner Abs with Kika – power yourself through upper crunches, oblique twists leg crunches and more to really feel that barre burn
    • HIIT – 5-minute Speedy Glutes with Brooke – smash out sumo squats, glute bridges, bridge marches, reverse lunges and crab walks. 
    • Bootcamp – 15-minute Total Core Pilates with Leo – start off with walkouts, dead bugs and hollow holds for an initial burn, then move into spinal roll downs, rotations and side planks!
    • Strength – 20-minute Upper Pump with Danny – perfect your reps, technique and get that upper body pumping with push ups, plants kettlebell rows and plenty of core work.

    KIC is for anyone who wants to feel good and take on a holistic approach to health and wellness.
