Ashleigh is passionate about applying her skills in physiotherapy (including women’s health physiotherapy), injury management and exercise rehabilitation to help people to live their best life.
Ashleigh has worked in private physiotherapy practice since graduating from La Trobe University. She is experienced in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and sporting conditions. Her special area of interest is Women’s Health including pre and post-natal and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Coming from a competitive sporting background, Ashleigh herself has had her fair share of injuries. In her younger years, Ashleigh played basketball at a representative level, competed for the Victorian Volleyball team and trained with an Elite Volleyball Academy. This experience has given Ashleigh great insight into injury management from a physical and mental perspective, and drives her passion for getting people fit, strong and healthy.
Ashleigh has a strong focus on exercise based rehabilitation. This led Ashleigh to completing her Clinical Pilates training with both DMA and APPI, which she utilises to help people achieve their health and wellness goals. Ashleigh is also skilled in a range of manual therapy treatments including dry needling.
In her spare time, Ashleigh is a self-proclaimed foodie, with a love for all things food and fitness related. She loves promoting a healthy lifestyle and stays active by hitting the gym, swimming, doing Pilates and kickboxing.
