About Us

Upwell is a 5 x award winning health centre in Camberwell.

We know how complex & challenging motherhood can be as our bodies go through many significant changes, often for the first time.

These changes shouldn’t mean you need to miss out on doing the things that you love. Our Physiotherapists are trained & experienced in treating a wide range of women’s health issues all the way from pregnancy to post-partum as well as the natural changes that occur as we age.

Ashleigh Mason is our resident Women’s Health guru. She has completed additional, specialised training in Women’s Health & Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. She is also a qualified clinical Pilates practitioner with experience in a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

HOW WOMEN’S HEALTH PHYSIOTHERAPY & PILATES CAN HELP:

Strengthen your core & pelvic floor muscles
Assist in managing common pre-natal conditions including back and pelvic pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome
Assist in managing common post-natal conditions including wrist pain and neck and shoulder pain, and abdominal separation

Manage pelvic floor issues such as incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse

This includes the use of Real-Time Ultrasound which is a valuable tool for viewing the abdominal and pelvic floor muscles. We will also assess your movement, discuss your goals, and develop a comprehensive plan to ensure you get back to doing the things you love. No strings attached!

We also understand that some conditions require specialist care; that’s why here at Upwell we have developed a strong referral network of local specialists should you require any further care.
