Melissa is an experienced physiotherapist with a unique approach to patient care.


As well as a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Curtin University and a Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from La Trobe University, Melissa’s has also undergone further training in the ConnectTherapy™ and Thoracic Ring™ approaches as offered by Canadian physiotherapist, Dr. LJ Lee. This holistic approach enables Melissa to assess, diagnose, treat and manage dysfunction in multiple regions of the body, especially around the ribcage. Complex and recurrent injuries are also well suited to this approach.


With a Diploma in Professional Pilates Instruction from Polestar Pilates, Melissa has a strong background in exercise-based rehabilitation and has an interest in injury rehabilitation and athletic performance, persistent pain syndromes, tendon pathologies and spinal conditions/dysfunctions.


Melissa is a certified teacher trainer and is regularly involved in delivering Pilates teacher training programs around Australia.


Melissa has training in therapeutic yoga and meditation, and enjoys learning about and incorporating the concepts of these ancient traditions into her existing treatment model.
